June Website Update

Hey everybody. Starting in the month of June, I will be posting a website update post with a list of additions and improvements that have been occurred over the last 30 days or so. This is in an effort to keep all of you apprised of what I am working on and the effect that certain changes will have on the website. You can expect a drop during the first week of each month under normal circumstances. If something arises and I need to push it back a bit longer, I will make the announcement.

With that being said, here is the full list of changes that have gone live on the site recently...

  • 2019 Free Agent Tracker!!

This is a pretty big addition to the site. There are 236 players in the NBA that will become free agents, or could become free agents this Summer through a non-guarenteed deal being dropped, or a player/team option being declined. I took the liberty of putting together a list of all 236 players who might become free agents and sorted them into a list. The list categorizes players based on their team, position, type of free agency, the value of their expiring contract, estimated value of their next contract, and best team fits. The last two categories will be added to all of the players of an entire team every day during the month of June so that the information is complete right at the beginning of Free Agency. Make sure to check back here often so that you don't miss the wealth of additional analysis that will be added to each player as we progress through the month. By clicking a particular category, you can filter player info for the category. For example, if you click the "position tab on the first row of the list, you can go to "filter items," click on the positions you wanna see, then it will only show players from the position(s) that you selected.

Easy enough right?

This list should come in handy this Summer with amount of players they will be changing teams league wide. If you find that any information is incorrect, or out of date, please inform me and I will make the necessary changes as soon as possible.

  • Forum Cleanup

Our forum is one of the best kept secrets around. It doesn't get as much coverage as the blog or podcast section, but that doesn't make it any less of an asset to the site. Sports become incredibly fun when you can share experiences with others. To help make that easier for you all and meet some fellow enthusiasts along the way, We implemented a Forum section not too long ago. You can find this section right under the 'more' tab right under the CBA Walkthrough. The changes to the Forum are very minor, so you may not even notice them, but they should make a bit of a difference during your experience. For one, we made the fonts a bit bigger, so it is easier to read everything. Secondly, we changed the layout of the categories for a more professional and exciting look. You will now be greeted by vivid images wherever you go.

  • Spreaker option for podcast streaming

We realize that Spotify and Soundcloud are not preferred ways to listen for everyone. Some of us like to be different. And that's ok. That's why we have introduced the Spreaker option in the podcast menu. Once you hit the gold colored box, you will be ushered into a new world where you can be familiar with your typical Spreaker experience. Each weekly podcast episode will be realized there just like anywhere else, so you don't have to worry about missing out on any of the action.

And that's about it for the update! Stay close, because June will be pretty busy around here. The CBA walkthrough will be updated, along with plenty of other features you love on this website.

Until next time!
